Military History Fair 2026

Another fantastic weekend of catching up with local historical military enthusiasts and the community from around Tasmania.  The clubroom grounds were full of vehicles, living and static displays a military memorabilia. The displays included, Legacy, WW1 nurses, WW2 kitchen, soldier recruiting, ADF, WW1 light horse, Salvos at War, Vehicle workshop, Models, Firearms, trade tables and much more. One of the highlights was the flash mob re-enactment of the first Japanese air attack on Darwin. This included, detailed narration, sound and actors concluding with a solemn reflection of that time on the 19th Feb 1942. Sincere thanks to all for their time, ideas and enthusiasm during the weekend.

HAMST Military History Fair 2024
Thank you all so much for once again making the fair a fantastic weekend. The work that went into the living history displays and our theme "The Redball Express" was sensational and very well received by our visitors. It was a great opportunity to catch up with all our like minded military clubs and create new friendships. Planning is already underway for 2026 which will be another memorable event I'm sure.
